                                                     Prayer for MOPH Chapter 1836

                                                                   April 15, 2020

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

  • Dear Father, we call upon you during this time of fear, terror, and bewilderment Lord we need you to help us eradiate this invisible coronavirus, that is plaguing all nations of this world. You and you alone can eradicate this virus, like you did with the H1N1, H2N2, and H3N2 viruses of past years. Dear Lord, hear our cry.  Now Dear Lord we ask that you bless our past officers of 2019-2020 for the great job that they perform, above the call of duty. Then Lord we ask you grant leadership, wisdom and knowledge to our newly elected officers for 2020-2021.
  • Lord, bless all veterans and their families, especially those who are in chapter 1836. We end this prayer, saying, thank you for all that you do for us, especially those things that we cannot do for ourselves.   May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord my strength and my redeemer.
  • James 5:13 ESV / -Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.

                                                                     God Bless America.

                                                                       In God we trust:

                                                                    Conrad A. Myers Jr.

                                                                           Chaplain

                                                             Past Commander 2007-2008

2021 Tip of the Spear Sporting Clay shoot fundraiser

In 2018 Bexar County Commissioners Court approved a wonderful place for the placement of a veteran’s monument on the banks of the San Antonio River across the River from the beautiful and historic Mission Concepcion. The name of the monument is called “Tip of the Spear” which  represents and dedicated to San Antonia's from all branches of the Military who have served and gave the ultimate sacrifice.

The monument will fly the United States flag along with the three soldiers, left, a Vietnam Veteran, looking at the Flag, proud of his service, Center, WWII/Korean Veteran, arriving home to a heroe’s welcome; right, a veteran represents in the Middle East, Global Conflicts and OIF/OEF. On guard,  following tradition of warriors past.” Registration Information
