Ithaca announces its next disbandment for 2025

Ithaca says goodbye. The London metallic hardcore combo will break up in 2025 and say goodbye to their fans with a farewell concert in their hometown for a fee. There should also be a final song. The band announced this on their social media channels on Wednesday (October 30th).

This is what Ithaca say about the band's end

In their statement it says:

Ithaca is coming to an end. This was a difficult decision, but it is the right time.

There were no arguments or creative differences. In fact, we are closer than ever before. We are simply no longer able to balance our responsibilities in life with the art you deserve. We feel like we have achieved more than we could have imagined. Now we are ready to retire.

We don't yet have the right words to describe what this band is and all your support means to us. That will come with time. But it's not the end yet. We made this decision together and that's why we want to celebrate the end of this journey in style.

We will release one last track and we would like to warmly invite you to our funeral: our last headlining show, The cremation partywhere we can mourn together. It's going to be a real wake – there's going to be DJs, we're going to play old songs that we haven't played in years, and inevitably there's going to be a lot of crying. Ticket sales begin on Friday, December November 1stum 10 O `clock. See you there.”

Said farewell show will take place on February 8, 2025 in the London O2 Academy Islington instead of.

Ithaca will have their second studio album in 2022 “They are afraid of us” brought onto the market. Her LP debut “The language of injury” published in 2019.
