Probation violation: 6ix9ine arrested again

6ix9ine is in legal trouble again. The self-proclaimed King of New York was recently arrested in his “kingdom” and had to appear in court yesterday. 6ix9ine allegedly violated the terms of his supervised release.

6ix9ine arrested for three violations

According to journalist Matthew Russell of the Inner City Press, who followed 6ix9ine's hearing and reported live on Twitter, the court charged the rapper with three different violations of his conditions: 6ix9ine is said to have traveled abroad and to Las Vegas without permission and not to some incriminating parties Drug tests have appeared. At those where he was present, he tested positive for meth twice.

The probation conditions are part of his early release in his RICO case at the time. After a deal with prosecutors, the prison sentence was reduced to two years in 2019. However, he was released early the following year because his lawyers argued that his health was particularly at risk due to the rapidly spreading corona pandemic at the time. It will then be regularly checked by the authorities in a five-year plan to ensure compliance with its requirements.

6ix9ine denies all allegations made by the court. According to the “Tati” rapper, the positive drug tests were a mistake: he was taking the ADHD drug Adderall. Adderrall contains a mixture of dexamphetamines and levoamphetamines. The positive meth tests could be traced back to his medication, said 6ix9ine.
